Weight Loss + Healthy Lifestyle Journey | Summer 2017

Hello beauties,


Welcome to a NEW segment that I'm running throughout June. In May I really upped my fitness game, going to the gym at least 3-4 times minimum a week, joining classes and eating even more healthier than I previously was... and I lost a stone! I had messages flooding in; asking me how I'd lost so much weight! so I thought... why not tell you all? and commit to loosing a stone with you. I will be posting every week to discuss my progress.



A little bit of background if you're a new follower - I joined the gym in January as part of my new years resolution and so far I've worked my butt off to get to where I am. Firstly, if you are thinking of going to the gym but your feeling kinda anxious and keep telling yourself "i'll start next week, after the weekend"... then grab your water bottle, put on your gym outfit, grab your headphones and head out the door! You will feel GREAT when you get there, everyone at the gym is trying to either loose, tone, build muscle and get fitter and healthier. I have met so many friendly people at the gym, providing tips to each other, it is a little community really, and the after feeling of a gym session is an incredible feeling. If you ain't sweating, do another set! I can promise you nothing but goodness will come out of working-out! I have been going to the gym at least 2-3 times a week since January and last month have started going 3-4 times a week including going to Aquarobics classes on a Tuesday evening. However, something just clicked last month I thought to myself If I really want to loose weight, tone and feel body-confident for Summer I need to get my head in the game.

Here's me baring all, and being completely honest... as photo's don't lie. Here is my progress within the last month to TODAY.  I will post a progress photo every week so you can see how I'm doing and on my last post I'll let you know how how much weight I've lost and inches. I love seeing progress photo's and that is one of my tip's for you, take a photo every week, I hate my first photo however I love the feeling of knowing i'll never be back to that again - I am happier, I'm healthier and fitter than ever before!



E X C E R C I S E :
My fitness routine

I focus on cardio mostly whilst at the gym. I aim to burn 250 - 300 calories on the treadmill, then do between 10-20 minutes on the exercise bike. I do weights for toning my arms and legs. I use the step machine, the vibration plate, I use the ab machine, I do squats and pretty much any machine aimed at loosing and toning. I'm looking forward to Thursday this week I've got my first PT session - I'm going to be aching afterwards, so wish me luck! Whilst I'm at home I try to do HIIT workouts on Youtube, whilst doing the ab and squat challenges - you can search these on Google /  Follow along at home - Great for beginners!


      



WHAT I EAT :
Insight to my diet routine

I have 2X shakes a day / Juice Plus vanilla or chocolate shakes. I have a salad for my afternoon snack and a banana for my morning snack followed by a healthy choice for dinner. Before meals I take a booster shot from Juice Plus which cuts 25% off calories. I aim to drink 2-3L of water a day and have cut out as much as possible bad high sugar drinks.

This is just the beginning of my journey, I am not exactly where I wan't to be I still can see my flaws but I'm proud of setting a goal and I'm going to say ABSOLUTELY SMASHING IT! I have every faith in you to all achieve anything you set your mind too - I can't wait to blog and share my progress all month with you, leave me comments if you have any questions!
