Make-Up Tutorial | Bronzed Smokey Eyes & Classic Red Lip

Hi beauties, I have been loving posting more make-up tutorials recently and after being sent some products from Avon Cosmetics to try over the last week, I thought why not play around with the make-up and create a look to share with you all.

WHAT MAKE-UP PRODUCTS I'M USING:

- Benefit Porefessional Primer
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
- Technic ColourFix Concealer Palette
- OG Original Girl Bronzer
- MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle Highlighter
- HD Brow Palette
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- Avon Mark Ink Eye shadow in Forever Bronze (*)
- Maybelline Push-Up Angel Mascara
- Avon Lip Crayon in Cherry Pic (*)
- Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
- Brushes Used: Nanshy & Real Techniques

I started out with my brows, using my favourite brow palette ever which is by HD brows I have the shade foxy and I mix the two brow colours together to get the perfect shade, then going back in with the brush it comes with to apply the wax over the top to keep them in place - we don't want any stray brow hairs throughout the day do we! (which is surprisingly quite good, I don't usually use the brushes in palettes!)

If you know me then gal, you know how much I love my smokey eye looks, so when I was asked to pick some products I obviously opted for a bronzed eyeshadow, this is their mark ink shadow in the shade forever bronze, which claims to last up to 18 hours (no, I haven't tested it's lasting power.. but it did last all day today which was 13 hours so PRETTY MUCH!!) I loved how this product added some slight shimmer to my eyes, it blended effortlessly and had a creamy formula which feels light-weight on your eyes. I then applied two coates of my current fave drugstore mascara which is the maybelline push-up angel, it applies lot's of length and volume to your lashes and is really affordable.

For my face products, after applying my Benefit porefessional primer, I applied my Estee Lauder double wear foundation to give my skin a flawless base, and contoured with my OG Outdoor Girl bronzer and made my skin look super glowing with the MAC MSF soft and gentle highlighter which was always a beauty must have back in the day!
Do you own this highlighter, if so let me know in the comments.

To finish, I applied the true colour lip crayon in the shade cherry pic, which is so pigmented and creamy, and is honestly one of the nicest red lipsticks I own. I'm really happy with how this look turned out, and let's face it you can't go wrong with a classic red lip!

Please feel free to contact the lovely Avon Rep who sent me these products out if you'd like to discuss products further, a link to her website is here.

What are your favourite Avon products?

  5. Love this look hun! Did the lipstick last for a good amount of time? Also how did it make your lips feel? Some lipsticks dry my lips out sooo bad😩 I deffo need something that's not too drying, or do you have any tips to stop it happening as much? Xx

    1. Thank you so much Beks. Yes the lip crayons are super long lasting! I couldn't tell I had any product on as it was really light weight and creamy - try a lipbalm a few minutes before applying a lip product, but equally a lip crayon would be much more mositurising so try that rather than lipsticks!
