Weight Loss + Healthy Lifestyle Journey #2 | Summer 2017

Hello beauties,
 
I'm back with the second segment of my challenge to loose a stone in June. Looking back to last week's post I was really happy with the progress I've made, however I wanted to try even harder this week. I am seeing more definition in my body and am feeling much healthier already and for me - that's great progress, we will find out if (I hope!) I've hit my target on the last week of June!

     
 
 
This week has been the week for extra fitness for me. I have well and truly explored my body's strength and limits. I am finally seeing my body shape forming and getting closer to my goal weight and figure. I would love to hear your success stories with gaining or loosing weight it really amazes me what we are capable of when we put our minds to it.

Here are my latest progress photo's the top two photo's are from last week and the bottom two in this collage were taken throughout this week. If you are going to the gym, or trying to eat cleaner and feel as if you can't see your own progress then I recommend taking photographs as other people will see weight loss quicker than you will yourself. I can vouch for this one, as I had family/friends tell me "you've lost so much weight" or "your really getting an hourglass figure" and I kept putting it off, as all I could see was my day 1 photo, until about 3-4 weeks after I saw photo's of my progress and I could definitely see a difference. It's like anything though, you're always going to be harder on yourself. The bottom photo was taken today after an my abs workout - this is my favourite area to work out it is so painful, but you do see results.. the saying is, no pain no gain!

EXCERCISE :
 
This week I have done a work out every single day! Can I get a H E L L Y E A H? To some people working out every day is a breeze, but it definitely takes a lot of motivation to push yourself every single day. This week my parents were away on holiday and usually I lift share with my Mum to work, however this week I walked to and from work every day - I must admit that 15-20 minutes each morning, walking by yourself listening to music or just admiring and taking in the world does so much good for your mind and it's a great way to start the day getting your heart beat up! Although, I did have to spend £7.49 on an umbrella because half way on my journey home the rain came in - oh British weather I do love you!
 
I also went to the gym Monday through to Thursday and on Tuesday I had a 20 minute power-walk on the treadmill with Hayley, followed by a 45 minute aquaarobics class and of course a relaxation in the sauna! I have found doing a variety of exercise has kept me so interested in working out and trying harder at new workouts. On Tuesday I had my Personal Trainer session for an hour and a half - it literally broke me, I could hardy walk after! I now have a programme tailored to me to stick to every time I'm at the gym, my area's I asked my trainer to help me was; loosing and toning my arms and legs, toning my abs and building shape in my bum! I do weights, cardio and toning exercises and absolutely love it!
 
I had the weekend out of the gym, however I still couldn't keep away from exercising, working out gives you a different outlook on life, I feel so much more positive and energised! I used my boyfriends weights and did squats, ab workouts and toning of my arms.


 
 
 
 
WHAT I EAT :
 
This part has not changed much, I kept to my usual eating routine aiming to drink 2-3L of water a day, including 2x shakes a day followed with 2x snacks which have been cherry or plum tomatoes I literally could eat a whole punnet I love them! I also have a salad at lunch time followed by a healthy dinner - before eating my lunch and dinner I'll take a booster shot which are by Juice Plus to cut 25% of my calorie intake. I have also without fail been taking my fruit, veg and berry capsules, again by Juice Plus to help with extra nutrition, skin, hair and nail growth. What are your favourite snacks?

I am another week closer to my goal, I hope if you are joining in too you are getting on well. Again, with these post's I am just giving advice of what has and is working for me - I am not a health nutrionist just a girl wanting to share tips and tricks with you!
