My Top 5 Favourite Highlighters

Hello beauties,

One of my favourite make-up products to use is a highlighter, I think I speak for all girls when I say that I love to smother my face in highlighter. If you are a fan of glowy skin and love having incredibly highlighted gorgeous skin then this post is tailored for you!

MAC Soft and Gentle Highlighter | £24.50

This was my first high end and expensive highlighter I owned and by far my favourite, it's an absoutley beautiful and glowing highlighter, which really adds dimension in your face and completes a make-up look entirely. My Mum and Dad brought this from me a while back whilst at duty free in the airport and I was so excited when they got home and I got to use it for the first time. MAC describe this colour as a 'gilded peach bronze' shade. I have the older version, and I must admit I prefer the packaging they used to have to what they have now. But nonetheless, the quality of the product is phenomenal. Although this does come with a hefty price tag this has honestly lasted me well over a year so it is worth the price.

Revolution Strobe Highlighter in Ever Glow Lights | £3.00

This highlighter is relatively new to my collection, but with being an absolute bargain of £3 it has quickly become one of my top favourites. The pigmentation from one swatch or application of this product is enough to make your knees weak. I have never been more impressed with spending £3 until I purchased this. This highlighter is perfect at bringing your skin to life within seconds, the highlighter will do wonders for your overall look and really catches natural lighting when applying to your cheekbones. If you haven't already purchased one mid-way through this post, then what are you waiting for?!?!

Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light 884 | £7.00

Again, this is still a new addition in my make-up bag after my drugstore make-up tutorial I posted I fell in love with the pigmentation of this highlighter. This adds both definition and sculpture to your cheekbones effortlessly, giving the perfect glow whilst being build-able, which basically means, the more you smother yourself in highlighter the better glow it'll give.

Benefit High Beam | £21.50

This highlighter is a cult beauty favourite and must have, I don't think I've ever came across a channel or blog where this product hasn't been mentioned. HighBeam is a subtle pink, liquid highlighter which provides a luminous glow to your skin, I have applied this both under and over foundation and love the finish it provides. Benefit has a range of liquid highlighters and cheek tints which are definitely worth trying out as you're browsing the make-up counters.

MANNAKADAR Beauty Bronzer/Highlighter | £17.00

I discovered this duo bronzer and highlight in a recent BirchBox and I loved the formulation of the highlighter, it is a velvety soft powder. The colour pay off I'd describe as a champagne pearl tone, which adds illumination to your skin which a natural glowing finish. I love the overall finish of this highlighter it sits nicely on your skin giving you that gorgeous glow.
