I spent the day yesterday on a spontaneous road trip and date day in Bournemouth with my boyfriend to spend time on the beach and to do some shopping. We both had such a lovely day so I thought I'd share the photo's I took on my camera so you can have a sneak peak into our day.
I have been to Bournemouth lots of times before, and it always draws me back, there is plenty to do - lot's of shopping facilities, live music bands in the centre, a beautiful sandy beach and lot's of delicious restaurants and cocktail bars (which is my favourite kind of alcoholic drink!) We were fairly lucky with the weather being between 22-24 degrees the blue skies were out but there definitely was some wind but, nonetheless we still had a fantastic day.
SHOPPING | WHAT I BROUGHT
Of course, whenever I go ANYWHERE I always end up either window shopping, or actually shopping! I only brought two make-up items (which is good going for me considering the range of brands available; NARS, Urban Decay, MAC, Dior, Clinique etc.) I brought the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation after asking for a sample a few days ago I quickly fell in love with the foundation, the coverage and lasting power and knew I definitely needed to pick up a full-size, the foundation is quite pricey being £32.50 - but it's hands down the best foundation I've tried so I think it's worth it - I also picked up an Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray which was £23.50 - again, another ultimate favourite product it's a great long-lasting setting spray to keep your make-up in place all day long!
I also went on a dress shopping hunt to find a ball-gown evening dress for an Award Ceremony I'm attending next Thursday (a get ready with me post will be live on Friday! Stayed tuned to see the finished look!) We searched high and low in every department store and boutique to find a dress for this event, I tried on the silver version of this dress and loved it but elegant black dresses are my favourite and the lovely lady in Debenhams was so sweet in helping me decide - to be honest, I was sold when I saw the big smile on Tom's face as I walked out of the changing rooms. I also went into Zara as they had a HUGE sale on and I couldn't resist having a rummage through - I picked up a lovely black bodycon dress which was on sale for £12.99 - head into there if you like there clothes as the sale is really good!

We decided to have lunch at Nandos, because who can go wrong with a cheeky nandos.
Tom's order was - Lemon and Herb chicken thighs, chips and garlic bread
My order was - Butterfly chicken burger (plain), sweet corn and creamy mash
Who's dinner was better?
If there's one thing seaside's are good for (well not so good if you're on a diet!) is yummy sugary doughnuts and ice-creams with about 100 different flavours to choose from. Here is Tom ordering 3 delicious doughnuts at an Ice-Cream Parlour bar - and YES, I did resist although they smelt divine.
