Hey my angels! I hope you are all well and staying safe - I am back with another Christmassy blog post and this one, was quite possibly my most requested post to do before Christmas. In today's post I am going to be sharing with you the WHOLE contents of this years Glossybox Advent Calendar, whether I think it is worth the money or not and my thoughts on the products we received. Hope you enjoy! If you got an Advent Calendar this year too, let me know your thoughts as we are now 14 days in...

So the name of the Advent Calendar by Glossybox this year is called 'Reasons to be Happy' and is a full 25 day advent calendar eek and is WORTH OVER £390... YIKES!!! Impressive right?! The packaging is beautiful it's marble, rose gold and pink and looks super luxurious. They have designed the calendar so that when you open the doors it then splits into FOUR drawers and then all of the boxes are inside. For subscribers to the Monthly subscription boxes we paid £80 and for non-subscribers it costed £99. Now - let's start unboxing and see what is inside this year's Advent Calendar features incredible products from some of the most iconic brands out there - including ICONIC LONDON, LIME CRIME & HUDA BEAUTY!! This advent calendar always sells out so quickly and I'm super grateful I managed to get one, as I'm loving opening it up daily! Keep scrolling to see all the contents!

This is a perfect set of sponges for - contouring, strobing and highlighting - this year I have actually really enjoyed applying my foundation with a sponge over a brush as it applies more flawlessly! The RRP of this is £11.99!

DOOR NUMBER 2 - Liquid Eyeliner by Illamasqua

I was excited to see a high-end product so early on into the Advent Calendar! This is a liquid eyeliner which has a precise, felt tip-like point that glides effortlessly along your eyelid! Even better - it says that this jet black eyeliner is SMUDGE-PROOF formula and dries to a semi-matte finish! The RRP of this is £21!

DOOR NUMBER 3 - NCEF-Reverse Supreme Multi-Correction Cream by Laboratoires Filogra Paris

Next up we got this which I am excited to try - it has 50 revitalising ingredients, as well as hyaluronic acid, collagen and vitamins A, H and E. It says this treatment smooths out wrinkles, reduces the appearance of sagging skin and evens out the tone of your complexion. The RRP of this is £77 for the full size 50ml, however in our Advent Calendar we received the deluxe mini  (7ml) which is worth £10.78 - so a good chance to try before considering if you want to purchase the full-size item!

DOOR NUMBER 4 - Glow Mist by Pixi

Okay... door number 4 made me SUPER happy as I've actually been wanting a few face setting spray product to try and always heard so many good reviews about the Pixi brand! This is a multi-purpose lightweight spray which hydrates, nourishes and soothes your skin. It says to use before applying makeup to protect your skin, or after applying makeup to set in place and create a dewy finish. How good does that sound?! Eeek... cannot wait to use this! Although, this year I discovered the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade and I am convinced that is the BEST eyebrow product out there, well... from what I have tried anyway!! And we have another skincare product, this is from Avant Skincare - a brand I've tried a couple of skincare products from before and absolutely loved them (although they are quite pricey - this really is a great chance to try the product before you think about investing yourself!) it say's that this eye cream deeply hydrates your skin and improves its elasticity, helping to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. The RRP for this one... WAIT FOR IT!!! Is £99 OMG!!!! This product alone covers the amount AND MORE that we actually pay for the Glossybox - how incredible is that?!

DOOR NUMBER 22 - Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica

They are treating our skin in this year's Advent Calendar aren't they! Here we have a daily microfoliant which is formulated with rice bran, white tea and licorice, and says this exfoliating powder removes dead cells and evens out your skin tone to reveal a bright, smooth complexion. This is another deluxe mini product - 13g and the RRP is worth £13.50, the full-size 75g is worth £51.

DOOR NUMBER 23 - Go Big or Go Home Mascara Trooper Black by KVD Vegan Beauty

Last couple of doors to open now, let's be honest the most exciting one we all want to see is day 25! This is another beauty product and is a mascara (Fun fact - mascara's used to be my favourite makeup product to collect and try from so many brands - at one point I owned over 15 mascaras... too many for one person but I always used it up fully before opening another) this is an extreme volume mascara and says it lasts all day WITHOUT smudging. Ok, I will put it to the test and share for you soon! We got a deluxe mini 3g worth £5 however the full-size 10g is worth £20!

DOOR NUMBER 24 - Victoria Nail Polish by Nails.Inc

And day 24 is a really pretty festive nail polish, although I won't personally be using this as I do get either gel/acrylic nails I will be giving this away to a friend/family member who would use it! This is a classic deep red hue and says it's long lasting (what we all want in our nail polish) and really does look like the perfect colour for this festive season. The RRP of this product is £15! I haven't actually brought a nail polish since the first lockdown and was shocked at the price of them now.

And... time for the big real, the day we are all waiting to see what's inside!!!

DOOR NUMBER 25 - Day to Slay Eyeshadow Palette by Iconic London

I honestly had the BIGGEST smile on my face when I saw what was behind door number 25! A EYESHADOW PALETTE.... but not just any palette an ICONIC LONDON palette! How lucky are we? This palette is absolutely beautiful as you'll be able to see from the photo's below. This features 20 matte, shimmery and glittery shades and can be used to create either day or night eye looks! The RRP of this palette is £45 - the packaging the shades inside this palette are all SO BEAUTIFUL!

So in conclusion... do I think the Glossybox Advent Calendar is worth the money? Yes I do, as you pay £80 as a subscriber, and it's worth £391.90 (based on prices in the Advent Calendar booklet of the items we received and the subscriber RRP price of the moisturiser) that is honestly AMAZING value for money - plus you get the beautiful box the calendar comes in with the drawers which you could certainly reuse and store either your makeup, skincare or haircare products in! I think there is only a very small handful of products in here that I wouldn't use, but I will be gifting them on to my loved ones so they enjoy them too and cannot wait to try out the products in here! In total out of the 25 days we received 15 FULL SIZE PRODUCTS & 10 DELUXE-MINI PRODUCTS!
