The Morning - On a self care day, mine always starts with a lie in that's the best part about having a day to yourself... am I right?!. I then started my morning routine, where I like to listen to a motivational video, read a few pages of my book (current reading choice is Good Vibes, Good Life by Vex King - highly recommend) I also write 10 things I am grateful for that day and read out my positive 'I AM' affirmations - I really like having a morning routine as I find it sets me up best for the day ahead. I then I got into my gym clothes and headed downstairs to make a glass of water and turn the TV on ready to load up one of Lucy Wyndham-Reads 7 minute HIIT workouts - the previous week I was doing her 20 minute full body workout, but this week I wanted to switch it up and try these ones. I have thoroughly enjoyed working out more recently, whilst having the weight management coffee and also eating healthier, I'm starting to see some improvements already and I'm almost 2 weeks in - feeling amazing!!! I then had a shower, and started to get ready in my bedroom (note to self, still need to give you the updates on my room and show you as I have given it a total MAKEOVER and I am so pleased with how it now looks) I did my hair and make up and got ready for the day, and then walked to town ready for my nail appointment. I went for a beautiful baby pink colour (always get my toes matching) and then walked back home ready to leave for my hair appointment! PS. I did 8K steps that day which I'm impressed about.
The Afternoon - It was finally time for my hair appointment - eek! I love love love getting my hair done, I feel like it for me is the BEST part of a pamper day, getting my hair done makes me feel amazing. I have a lovely hairdresser called Calley who has been doing my hair for more years than I can remember, certainly think it's been over 10 years now - I had a full head of blonde highlights, then we add a toner, cut and styling - usually I have my hair straightened which she did do for me, then she threw it back to years and years ago and asked if she could curl my hair with the straighteners (a talent I still haven't learnt to master yet, question for you, can you curl your hair with straighteners or do you struggle too?) I'll share a photo below so you can see my new hair! Thank you so much Calley again, you are so talented at what you do and I love catching up and being in the chair to have my hair pampered! I'm so pleased with it!
The Evening - Finally it's time to properly unbox the Mini Self Care Treat box and start to use the products inside, they have an Instagram page which is @selfcaretreatbox - definitely go and check them out they have so many different treat boxes for different occasions which can be delivered straight to your door - there is so much effort, and love that are put into each one and they honestly feel like such a special treat and would make for a perfect gift for a friend, family member or loved one, as soon as I opened up the packaging and saw the box with the labels on I was so excited and felt like it was Christmas day, I just couldn't wait to open it and see what was inside!! I'm really excited to show you everything and give my thoughts as this made my pamper evening so perfect. I'll share a photo below of everything that comes inside so you can see - it's so cute, and totally me! Just look at how beautiful everything looks... I am obsessed!

Okay, so first things first... I had to make a cup of the Pukka Blackcurrant Beauty Tea, my Mum was really intrigued as to what this does and the taste. I guess I was too, I wondered if it would make me feel ultra glamorous afterwards haha! A girl can dream, although it did taste lovely and it reminded me of the lovely herbal teas that you are given at the Spa (last time I was at a Spa was for my birthday weekend early March) I felt so relaxed enjoying my tea whilst deciding which product to try from the Self Care Treat Box first, and by the way - encase you were wondering, the blackcurrant taste wasn't overpowering either! The first product I used was the Wipe Out Microfibre face cloth after I cleansed my face just to ensure all my make-up was off, then I applied some moisturiser onto my brows (as I cannot pluck my eyebrow hairs without cream haha!) and used the super cute Vintage Rose Gold Tweezers which are absolutely amazing, so easy to use and they pull the hairs easily - I do go and get my eyebrows threaded and tinted so I was just touching up the brow hairs that needed to be gone! I then tried the Patchology Mood Mask which left my skin feeling so hydrated and moisturised - I am a huge fan of sheet masks when I want to have a relaxing pamper as it's the perfect chill out relaxation time, I put the face mask on and then relaxed and read a few more pages of my book. I can be a total book worm when I love the book I'm reading and any chance I get I'm always picking it up to read more!! Are you like this too? Once it was time to take of the sheet mask (my fave part is to massage the excess moisture from the mask into my skin and it leaves your face GLOWING!!!)
I applied the Organic Pharmacy Lipbalm which is really lovely too, and it's a must have item in Autumn/Winter with the cooler nights drawing in. And lastly, I applied the Aloe Vera Cuticle Pen onto my freshly done nails - I really like cuticle pens I think they do work to support your nails too and it's only something I've recently started to use in the last couple of months. And, I have been eating super healthy recently so I still have my Lindt Chocolate and Heart Sweet which I thought was such a lovely treat to be included and the sweets were pink and beautifully packaged together with the tea bag in a super cute gift bag. Everything felt so luxurious and very well thought of. Two of my favourite things which were the last two items we received in the Mini Self Care Treat Box was the Quartz Love Heart Stone which also came in it's own bag, which made it have a lovely personalised touch and was my infact Mum's favourite item too, so we did a little bit of research into the meaning of rose quartz and it says it's the stone of universal love! I really like things like this, and we also received a Positivity Quote Card and you can see mine read "Taking Care Of Yourself Is Productive" and I honestly could not agree more with this, having some time to yourself - whether that be a full day like I was able to do (which was very needed and much appreciated) or just 5 minutes to have a nice relaxing bath, or a couple of hours in the morning or afternoon you should take that time for yourself to do things for you, that you love and what makes you happy IS KEY and like the quote says PRODUCTIVE. I found after my pamper day I was feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready for the rest of the day/week/month/year! It's extremely important that we take care of ourselves. And, I personally really enjoyed ending my Pamper day with this lovely Mini Self Care Treat Box as all of the products were all ready for me to use and enjoy (and what I would pick too for a pamper evening - this evening I didn't need to tan or do a hair mask, but they are two other favourite things I like to do when having a pamper evening!) by the amazing SelfCareTreatBox company and I am so grateful to Debbie for sending me this! Now, I'm going to mention it... as let's be honest, it's not far away is it. Until.... *Drumroll Please* CHRISTMAS... I think their Treat Boxes would make for a perfect Christmas present you can also add a personalised gift message by filling in the gift note section which is a great idea if you are looking to send a gift to someone. I have been looking on their Instagram and Etsy page this evening and noticed lot's of new designs they are bringing out such as, the bath box and another exciting one they let me see a sneak peak of, but to see more be sure to head over to their page and check them out.
Also tell me, which one of their boxes are your favourite? I struggle to pick, they are all amazing!
