June Favourites 2017

Hi beauties,

 

Another month has gone speeding past our eyes again, I really enjoyed the month of June I went to lot's of BBQ's had fun with family and friends and attended the South West Call Centre awards with work, and on the blogging side of things we managed to reach over 20,000 viewers/followers - how amazing! Thank you! Onto the favourites which I found pretty hard to narrow down this month as I've tried and tested lot's of new products for you all. Let me know your favourites for the month too.

 

My Beauty Favourites of the month are:

 

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation -

 

If you've followed my blog post's this month you'll know I recently reviewed the sample I tried of this foundation and loved it in comparison to my old favourite which was the MAC Studio Fix. Whilst in Bournemouth in June I picked up this foundation and have used it every day I've applied make-up since. This is a medium-full coverage foundation which is buildable and leaves your skin looking flawless - it literally covers EVERYTHING. I would highly recommend this foundation for those who like flawless coverage with a light feel on your skin. I love the packaging of this product and can't wait to try more from this brand.

 

 

Benefit High Beam Highlighter -

 

I have used this highlighter for many years now and I have fell back in love with it over the last few months - we all have those trustworthy make-up items which end up falling into the back of your collection and you tell yourself you can't throw it away as you love it, but always use the newer items (that's me!) well, I dusted this off and put it to use again and I'm so glad I did. This highlighter is a liquid formulation and in the style of a nail polish - the shimmery highlighter adds an incredible glow to your skin leaving a dewy finish. A win win especially in the Summer!

 

Doucce Punk Volumizer Mascara -

 

I looked through my May favourites before writing this post, and realised this mascara has now made it into two monthly favourites! I still haven't needed to purchase the full size (which I will do when this runs out!!) and I still love this mascara which I had as a sample in a recent BirchBox. This mascara adds lot's of length and volume to the lashes. Best mascara I've used in a long time!

 

 

Avon Nutra Effects Tinted Moisturiser -

 

In the Summer months I always look out for the best tinted moisturiser BB cream on the market as I want light-weight make-up with a high SPF to protect my skin but to add that your skin but better look on days out. I discovered this product from my Mum and now add this into my foundation to give a dewy look on my skin or use alone on hotter days or when I want to wear less makeup. I will most certainly be stocking up on more of these as it applies in a white cream which is super bendable and easy to apply and matches all skin types beautifully.

 

Revolution Strobe Highlighter -

 

I spy another product which has been featured twice in a row! I promise I have tried so much new make-up out recently but this has still had a firm place in my make-up bag, this highlighter has become a make-up bag staple for me over recent months and I always add this on top of my High Beam highlighter to add more definition and glow to my skin. This product is such a bargain for £3 and is so pigmented as you can see below. If you haven't tried this, then you should as it's honestly one of the best I've tried so far!

 

My Random Favourites of the month are:

 

Louise Pentland's book - Wilde Like Me & RayBan Sunglasses -

 

I am an absolute book worm especially in the Summer, and after following Louise Pentland aka Sprinkleofglitter's recent videos and vlogs I couldn't resist but to get my hands on her book. I am a huge fan of her diaries I had both 2016 and the 2017 version so I had high hopes for her book, although I am still at the beginning part of this book I really am enjoying so far. I also thought adding my RayBans in this photo fitted well as I've been enjoying relaxing in the Sun reading this book with the gorgeous hot weather we've had here in the UK recently.

Beverly Hills Formula Whitening Toothpaste

 

I am always attracted and pulled towards products with fancy products, and whilst popping in quickly for 5 minutes to Pound Stretcher to grab some snacks with Tom I ended up leaving with this toothpaste and a phone mount for my car! (which I love too!) I was intrigued to try this whitening toothpaste as it aims to give you whiter teeth in 1 minute - I can vouch that my teeth are definitely a lot whiter since using this - maybe I'll post a before and after to show my results on Instagram after using this for a few weeks? I am always hesitant to get my teeth whitened, so I'd rather trial a toothpaste first! 

 

Vera Wang Princess Perfume -

 

I love this perfume it has such a sweet refreshing smell and is perfect for the Summer. I love the bottle and having this on my dressing table - What is your favourite perfume? Have you got this perfume?

 

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter -

 

As most of you know by now I love applying fake tan and to do so I always ensure I moisturise my skin to prolong the tan. This moisturiser from Soap and Glory is the best I own, a creamy formula that is very hydrating on the skin. And, how better can a moisturiser get than having your name and face on the packaging?!
