Weight Loss + Healthy Lifestyle Journey #3 | Summer 2017

Hello beauties,
Here we are again, with the third segment of my challenge to loose a stone in June. I'm doing really well so far, and I must admit this beautiful, scorching hot weather which we've recently had in the UK is making it so much easier to stick to shakes and healthy salads!

I have seen a lot of definition in my abs - I'm aiming for a tiny waist and a curvy body - what are your goals?



EXERCISE :
My fitness routine

I have been super focused at the gym since my PT session, I really have experimented with different equipment and weights and exceeding my limits. I went to the gym 4 times last week, and did home HIIT workouts on the 3 times I didn't go. I start with a high intensity workout on the cross trainer for 12 minutes, followed by leg workouts, chest and arm workouts to tone and crunches, plank and Russian twists to build up my abs and strength. I also had my Aquaarobics class on Tuesday followed by the sauna. If you struggle with motivation then I'd definetly recommend either changing up your workouts, try a class or even ask for a programme or PT session at your local gym to keep you engaged!

      


WHAT I EAT :

I have been obsessed with mixing up my shakes this week, I have had chocolate and vanilla shakes, and in the hotter weather I have much preferred vanilla shakes as they're really refreshing. I have been eating an apple or a banana whilst I walk to work everyday - that has to be one of the simplest change I've made recently and it is really helping not only to help me shift those pounds but also clearing my mind and is a great way to start your day! I have been continuing to have my booster before meals to reduce 25% of my calories and having chicken salads and healthy meals at dinner time - let's face it in this heat, who want's to eat anything else?

I usually post a body-confident photo here, however, I am SO close to loosing 2 stone I only have about 5 pound to loose and I wanted to remind myself of how far I've come, I have stuck to working out and eating healthy for almost 2 months now and I cannot believe how dedicated I've been - usually I'll say "i'll start Monday" or "i'll try again next Summer", but why? Why not just start today, why not now? and that's what I said, goodbye to the old me and hello to the new, more confident, happier Em who is looking forward to Summer more than ever this year. I've got until the end of June to loose my 2nd stone, I can do this!!! Leave me a motivational quote in the comment section!
