Glossybox April 2020 Unboxing | Blossom Edit

Hey everyone - and welcome back to a new blog post. In today's post I am going to be unboxing and sharing my first impressions on the products in this month's glossybox. I am so excited to share the products with you all - as they all sound so good and the value worth of this box is INCREDIBLE. The theme for the April glossybox is all around Spring, and new beauty products for our routine with the season changing. Inside the box you receive a leaflet which explains about the theme of the box and all about the products that you've got this month, and the price of the products - plus their other benefits and a sneak peak for the May box! This is filled with 5 awakening and nourishing products; lot's of floral scents, lip care bursting with botanical goodness and pastel coloured cosmetics by some amazing brands! Let's unbox and have a look at the Blossom Edit!

Blossom Kisses Nail Polish by Nails Inc | RRP £11

The first product in this month's glossybox is a full size nail polish by the brand Nails Inc. and is worth £11. For the first time in nearly 2 years I am back to natural nails - I'm sure lot's of other people are too now, so now I can actually try this out! The nail polish is from Nails Inc. and is such a pretty pastel colour which is perfect for Spring time! It says that this formula lasts up to 10 days (which is impressive!) and says it's really easy to apply to achieve a professional-looking manicure.

Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant by Avant Skincare | RRP £92

The next product is a face exfoliant by Avant skincare and the price tag for this full size item is £92!!! This is absolutely amazing considering the subscription price and the value of product alone is incredible - the value of the items in the glossybox are always a minimum of £50. I have tried this exfoliant once so far since receiving it, and I loved how it made my skin feel and look - my skin appeared brighter and felt much smoother. The ingredients of this product calm irritations, improve the appearance of wrinkles and deeply hydrate your complexion! All you need to do is simply massage into clean skin using circular movements and rinse with warm water. This product smells lovely too, it's not too overpowering but does definitely have a spa-like smell and I'm really pleased with it so far!

Lip Balm (coconut scent) by SportFX | RRP £4.99

This product is my favourite in this month's box - recently, I've been really into testing out new lipbalms and have found two others that I really like. The price point for this is really good too - £4.99 and I think this will last a really long time. I love the shape of the balm too. The coconut scent of the SportFX lipbalm is absolutely amazing. This product is so moisturising and hydrating and I can notice a difference straight away! The lipbalm also has an SPF15 and is now my newest make-up bag staple! There were two different scents, and you received one, so coconut or raspberry and rhubarb - which one would you prefer?

The Ritual of Sakura Shower Scrub by Ritual Cosmetics | RRP £4.60 *deluxe mini*

Next up is another skincare product - and this time, by Rituals! I'm really pleased to see so many skincare products in this month's box as I love trying new skincare products and new brands too, which is amazing. This is a deluxe-mini and is 70ml and is worth £4.60. The full size is £9.90. This product has a gorgeous cherry scent, and is a 2 in 1 cleansing and exfoliating scrub! It has botanic scrub particles with nourishing rice milk to leave skin feeling soft and subtle. You use this once a week and massage into damp skin using circular movements until it transforms into a soft shower cream, then wash off! It honestly smells amazing and from a lovely brand, I have tried a few of their products before and loved them.

Deep Conditioner by HASK | RRP £2.49

The last product in the box - is from one of my favourite hair care brands, HASK! I discovered their products in a previous glossybox and have loved their shampoo, conditioner and hair mask ranges since then! This hair mask is the Blue Chamomile & Argan Oil blonde care deep conditioner worth £2.49 - I haven't used this yet, but I cannot wait to try it out as I have loved all the other hair masks I've tried from them before. I'm excited to put it to the test as it says it brightens and repairs all blonde shades - and with not being able to get our roots done right now, this is the perfect time to test it out. I will leave a comment in this post to let you know my thoughts after I've used it.

Final Thoughts...

What do you think about the products in this months box?
I'm really pleased with this month's box - I love trying new skincare and beauty products and this month was filled with lots! My favourite thing about this subscription is trying new products and discovering new brands - it's a great way to try before you decide if you want to go and purchase. I'm most looking forward to trying the HASK hair mask and the other products more over the upcoming weeks. My two favourites are the Avant face exfoliant and the SportFX lipbalm. The total value of this month's box is worth OVER £110.. how amazing is that?!! I'm looking forward to seeing what we receive in the May glossybox. If you get glossybox too, let me know your favourite product in the comments below!
