Haircare Range Review - Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect Collection by HASK

Hey everyone! In today's post I am going to be reviewing the Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect Collection that I was kindly gifted by HASK. I received their hair oil in my November Glossybox which I loved, so when the opportunity came for me to try more of the range I was very grateful as I was so impressed with the hair oil. The HASK team said the Rose Oil & Peach collection for my blonde hair. I have been over the last few months having my hair coloured more regularly, so having this range to really protect the colour and condition of my hair has been perfect!

The products I received were the Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner, along with their conditioning treatment. I have been using only these products for the last couple of weeks, to really put them to the test so I can give you my honest review. I always am cautious of products that say they help to protect the colour, as I feel they will do that, rather than give you that super clean hair feeling! However, this range really is the best of both worlds. The first time I used it, I used the trio, I washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioner and then I left the deep conditioning treatment on for 10 minutes - which may I add, if you like self tanners like me, these 10 minutes gives you the perfect opportunity to remove your old tan! More on the new tanning range I've been trying in a blog post coming up very soon. I instantly noticed an improvement when blow-drying my hair after using these products. The first thing I noticed, was that my hair dried quicker and styled with ease. Isn't that the worst part of washing your hair... drying it takes forever for me usually!

I wanted to take a before photo of my hair, over the recent months I have been going to the salon more frequently to have regular cuts and full head of blonde highlights as I'm wanting to get my hair to a lighter blonde. However, the condition of my hair is still pretty good! I used the Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner twice a week, and then once a week I would use the deep conditioning hair mask treatment. The scent of this range is lovely, very fresh and floral. The range is a very moisturising and nourishing for the hair, and has hydrolysed quinoa to help fight fading and seal in shine. The product description says the organic rose oil and peach blend nourishes, smooths and hydrates colour-treated strands, which helps to prevent your hair from drying and fading so it helps your colour stay looking fresh and radiant! I can say that I agree with all of these comments - after using the range for the past few weeks (and putting away all of my other shampoo's, conditioners and hair masks) I have been very pleased with this range and how it works! Now let's see how my hair looks using the hair deep conditioning treatment...

OK... so let's talk about my favourite part of hair care routine... the deep conditioning treatment! Who else loves a hair mask? I feel they just give your hair a new lease of life! And the HASK Rose Oil & Peach Deep Conditioning Treatment did not disappoint! This hair mask is aimed at fighting fading and sealing in the hair's shine. This treatment is so nourishing, my hair instantly felt and visually looked so much healthier after just one use! It also helps to strengthen strands, smooth frizz and boost shine to maintain vibrant colour. I honestly think this has to be, to date, the best high-street/drugstore hair mask I've tried! The condition of my hair has improved since using this range of  products! I leave the hair mask on for 10 minutes, and I use it once a week - ideal for use is 1-2 times per week, or as needed! I never usually use one whole range of products - however, I have noticed such an improvement in my hair, the way it looks, feels, styles and it's much more manageable so I am definitely taken to the idea of using the whole collection rather than 1-2 products. What do you do, use the same products from a range or mix and match?

And, this is how my hair is looking now after using the range for the past few weeks. I also took this selfie before heading off to the train station, and I was keeping myself busy whilst waiting for the taxi, so I decided to try on my brother's glasses and see how I suited them! *Back to the review* - as you can see my hair certainly does look healthier, the colour has lasted very well since I last got it done in November, and it does have a shine to it also. There are a few things I want to review about this range so here goes below;

1. Packaging - The packaging of this collection is so beautiful - yet very simplistic! I love having this collection in my bathroom - the colour really lights up the room and the bottles are a fab size too as I have taken them away whilst travelling and staying in hotels and they haven't taken up too much room in my suitcase, nor leaked... which is a HUGE bonus.

2. Price range - The prices of the range I have looked at our from Superdrug. The shampoo and conditioner (335ml) RRP is £6.99 each and the deep conditioning hair treatment (50g) RRP is £2.99. I think the pricing of this range is very affordable and great for what you get and how well these products work, plus the packaging is absolutely stunning!

3. Thoughts on the results - does it do what it says? I am a fan of all of the products I've tried within this collection, they all do exactly what they say they will. My hair is in a great condition now, my hair styles SO much easier - which has been the biggest improvement I have noticed - the packaging is stunning (I love cute packaging!) the range is affordable and I will definitely be trying out more from the HASK range. I highly recommend the Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect Collection - if you try it out, please let me know your thoughts!
