The Face Mask That Helped Transform My Skin | Let's Get Muddy!

Hi beauties - I hope you all had the most amazing weekend and your week is off to a great start. I've just come back from being in London this weekend for an event, I had so much fun - it was mind blowing and I am beyond excited to try all of the new products that they are releasing and the post I'm doing today is about a product in the range! IT'S DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE!

HERE IS MY SKIN AT IT'S WORST . . .

I might have dialed down the 'is your skin kinda a big deal to you?' message as for me it was all I worried about as a teenager. I was so conscious of getting blackheads and spots... and my skin would always break out JUST before I was about to go out with friends - typical eh? I suffered with acne scaring, the purple/red skin tone around my cheeks and jawline and I had a lot of spots on my chin. I tried so many different face masks and creams and yet nothing worked, to be truthful the more I tried and tested the worse my skin got.This has taken me a lot of coverage to share with you all, as my blog platform is growing so much daily and I was so self conscious taking these photos, but I would never recommend a product unless I've personally tried and had results from to know that it actually works.

So, enough chit chat... let's get a little REAL. I started using the mud mask and saw results within just a few uses, the top two photo's were taken on 27th November 2017 and the bottom too were taken 21st January 2018 - WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I finally saw huge improvements, my skin was getting so much clearer and my spots/acne was reduced. I also tried another product in the product range called a chemical peel which enhanced my results and gave me a dewy, glowy look to my skin. I am so greatful I found this mask.

FAST FORWARD TO A YEAR AND A FEW MONTHS AGO . . .

I was asked if I'd like to try a few products from this brand a local lady to me was recommending to her friends and family, so I was immediately intrigued and asked what products, she said there would be a whitening toothpaste, mud mask and plumping lipbalm... normally I'd be drawn to the make-up but this time, I cared more for the face mask.

I got my phone out and searched for this particular face mask and I couldn't believe what it said it was going to do! A face mask that is going to VISIBLY DRAW OUT my blackheads, dirt, excess oils and impurities from my skin?! *gross I thought* but, was this the answer to me getting clear skin? FINALLY? well it's worth a try - so we arranged for her to drop the products round and that evening, I got the mask out and gave it a whirl.

WELL WELL WELL, for once... a product did exactly what it said on the tin! (figure of speech because it's actually not on the tube it's in the product description page, BUT... you get my drift. I loved seeing the results first hand and examining the problematic areas of my skin; oily t-zone, excess oils on my chin and blackheads on my nose, chin and center of my forehead. I was a little disgusted actually to see what my skin was like, as this mask highlights EVERYTHING. However, on the other side it amazed me that for so many years my skin has had all of those issues, but I've not treated/seen them from using anything else. I'll include a before and after photo below so you can see exactly how this face mask works.

So here is the product in action, you start by applying the mask to your problematic areas, or as I like to do at least once a week is apply a full face as a deep treatment. It applies fairly wet, and then starts to dry - as you can see from the second photo it literally PULLS all of the dirt, impurities, blackheads and oils out of your skin, and the darker patches that show once the mask is fully dry (after 15-20 minutes) will be the excess oil that is on your face. Then simply rinse the mask off with warm water, and say hello to clearer skin!

How many applications can I get from the mask and how big is the tube?

You get 200g of product, which gives you between 28-30 FULL face applications!

Is this mask suitable for all skin types?

Yes, and that's one of my FAVOURITE aspects of this mask. It's suitable for men and women of ALL skin types.

How often would you recommend to use this mask?

I personally use the mask twice a week, and if I have spots then I pop it on every couple of days just on the problematic areas. I will personally be using this, at least, once a week.

What are the main benefits I've noticed?
