Review: July's Birchbox

Hiya beauties, it's BirchBox time!! The best thing about this subscription service is, it feels like my birthday every month except I'm buying the present myself!

 

 

July's Box: Summer Daze

 

This month's box design was chosen by the subscribers of BirchBox - we selected the sunset-inspired box and the most exciting thing about this box (other than the super cute packaging) is infact that everyone is going to get six products! Benefit Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Stain | RRP £25.50

This is the second benefit product I've received in my BirchBox since I joined in January! It's
really lovely to see those big brands being featured in the boxes as it's a perfect way to try before you buy. I chose Chachatint which is a coral shade - perfect for adding a hint of colour to your skin in the Summer. This product has a duo purpose as it's a 2-in-1 tint providing long-lasting pigment to both your cheeks and lips.

Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water | RRP £16

Micellar waters were definitely a new beauty crave in 2016, and still are very popular in the beauty scene this year so it's safe to say I was happy to stock up and try out a new one. This make-up remover takes off all of your make-up effortlessly - this product has 99% natural cleansing water and leaves your skin looking glowing. I use a cotton pad with this product to sweep away my make-up! These products are fab for travelling as you don't need as there's no rinsing required!

 

Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery | RRP £20
 

I absolutely love hair masks and pampering myself with a hair treatment mask - as you'll know from my hair care post which you can read here. This mask claims to be brimming with conditioning agents to hydrate your locks, adding shine to your hair and fighting frizz (I am lucky to have pretty straight hair naturally but this'll help to keep it tame) I'll put this mask to the test and if it's amazing, then you're likely to hear about it!

 

 

Native Unearthed Natural Mineral Deodorant | RRP £7.99

 

What? How? Yes, exactly my comments when I read this on the leaflet we received within our boxes. I have honestly never heard of a product like this, so here is the low down. This is a natural formula which doesn't affect the products effectiveness - intrigued? Me too! This product uses the anti-bacterial coconut oil and absorbent arrow root to keep to keep you feeling fresh all day. Hmm, it sounds pretty cool - although slightly weird. I'll let you know my thoughts once I've tried this out. Have you used anything like this before?

 

Rituals Hammam Delight Foaming Shower Gel | RRP £4.50

 

I have seen and heard so much about the brand Rituals, but have never owned anything, so thank you BirchBox for introducing me to my first Rituals product! This is a foaming shower gel with a revitalising formula. This transforms from gel to foam when in contact with water and is scented and packed with both eucalyptus and rosemary to refresh your skin.

 

Nanette Lepore Eau de Parfum | RRP £55 *BirchBox Exclusive*

 

My first ever BirchBox perfume! I have really enjoyed the variety of products in this months box ranging from; care, skincare/hygiene products and make-up! This perfume sample is freshly cut with roses and white peaches (Very summery - and perfect in line with this month's theme!)
