May Favourites 2017

Hello beauties,

I hope you've all had a fab month of May - I can't believe we are approaching June, this year is definitely flying by. I enjoy gathering my products up at the end of each month remembering what products worked well.. and which ones were not so good. I have tried a few new products this month which usually are found through my monthly subscription service with Birch Box so I thought I'd share them all with you; ranging from beauty products to health products. Let me know what your favourites have been this month as a beauty obsessive I love discovering new products and reviewing them for you all.

My favourites this month are:

Revolution Strobe Highlighter -

I recently discovered this new-in affordable beauty brand called Revolution in Superdrug stores it covers a whole range of beauty products all of amazing quality. I couldn't help myself but be drawn towards their collection of highlighters, they are extremely pigmented and the colour pay off lasts a long time and definitely gives you that 'on-fleek glow!' I was surprised to say the least when I got to the till and this was only £3 (what a bargain!) - YES, I did go back and buy more but this one is my favourite - I apply this to my cupids bow, forehead, on my brow bone and cheekbones to enhance my features.

Bed Head TIGI Shampoo and Conditioner - 

I've previously shared my love for the Bed Head TIGI range on my hair care post - but after a friend told me about Justmylook website that sell these amazing duo sets for under £15 I couldn't put it in my online basket quick enough. DOUCCE Punk Volumizer Mascara - 

Ahh it's returned! My favourite product in my May Birch Box -
this mascara is I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E I only received a sample size however I am planning to repurchase it when I run out. This lengthens my lashes so they look like falsies, adds a lot of definition and the bristles are very thick and close together so perfect for applying to the otter corner lashes. This is definitely up their with my top 3 high-end mascara's (and I've tried an awful lot!!) I would definitely recommend getting your hands on this mascara if you can - it has sold out several times on the Birch Box website so it's a beauty must-have.

Benefit POREfessional Primer - 

I purchased this mascara after following Benefit's Instagram, and reading fab reviews! This ensures my make-up lasts all day, applies smoothly and minimizes the appearance of pores. My foundation application blended with ease. This has quickly become my new go to primer that I reach for out of my make-up collection. I love the packaging of Benefit products too - how girly and cute are they?!

Juice Plus Shake Powders -

I lost over a stone in May (if you follow me on Social Media and have caught up with my recent Healthy lifestyle post's on my blog you'll already know this) and I am planning to work towards loosing another stone in June and blogging my journey every day and posting weekly my food and exercise and weight loss in a diary form to motivate everyone and myself even more for Summer! I do think these shakes have aided quicker results in my weight loss and my favourite shake at the moment is chocolate, water and ice! It's super refreshing with the recent heat wave we've had in the UK. What are your favourite drinks in the Summer?

Garnier Moisturizing Face Mask - 

I have focused on skincare a lot more recently, I always spend a lot of money on make-up but thought hey, I need a good base! I absolutely love these moisturizing face masks. They are super hydrating and make my skin feel so refreshed! I have tried a wide variety so these style of masks are my favourite in general however in Superdrug the Garnier ones are currently £1.50 by the tills!! (I always cave at the tills and buy the extra products -that I do not need may I add - but are placed beautifully in hand-reaching distance with the words SALE, or last chance on them!) I know i'm not the only ones girls. These are fab to properly clean your skin and I feel so awake after! I have also seen a reduce in blemishes since treating myself weekly to a pamper face mask.

ST Moriz Tanner - 

ST Moriz has quickly become my favourite tanning brand, however I recently read some reviews regarding this tan in their advance pro formula, it is a mousse formula that blends onto the skin really well and provides a very tanned goddess glow - it develops over 6-8 hours and you simply just wash it off after...how easy?! I have tried a few different tans from this brand recently and have come to the agreement this is the best so far. Have you got any tans which you'd recommend? I have read a lot about Bondi Sands tan so that's definitely on my list to try next - but i'd love to hear your favourites too.

Anastasia Foundation - 

I have tried out this foundation from Anastasia nearer to the end of this month and slowly have begun reaching for this more than my MAC Studio Fix foundation, this provides a flawless base at medium to full/build-able coverage. I never have to re-apply this foundation throughout the day which is a HUGE bonus for me - working in an office with air-con it's hard to find a foundation up to scratch. I am keen to try more products from this range as I've heard only good things so far, this foundation is a top pick for me!
