Review: March's BirchBox

 Hello beauties,

It's BirchBox time! I received my March BirchBox in the post today, after a long anticipated wait it has finally arrived! I think what happens is, I get the e-mail to confirm my BirchBox has been personalised and put together and I literally stare at my phone and delivery tracker right until the day it comes through the door!

This is my third box, I started up my subscription in the New Year and overall have been very pleased with the content of the box all for £12.95 per month (including post and packaging) - I love getting new beauty, skincare and hair care products to try out and discovering new brands and venturing out of my comfort zone.

If you haven't already signed up, I ask you WHY if you can afford to buy a take away or a meal deal once a week for a month then why not invest some money into a present each month tailored to you? I am normally someone who contemplates purchasing something for myself as... you can use the money for something else, however I love recieving my little box now it's a little treat for me.

Contents Inside My March Birch Box

1. Benefit - They're Real! Double the Lip in Lusty Rose | RRP £16.50

This lip product has a teardrop tip with a liner at the top and a long-lasting lipstick at the bottom. This lipstick was easy to apply, colour pay off is true to what is in the tube and is long-lasting. I would rate the packaging of this product 5* because it is exactly how a full size benefit product would look and for me, that was the exciting element of this month's box to try some more high-end brands.

2. Balance Me - Instant Lift Primer | RRP £22

This is a primer to 'blur out the lines' of your imperfections (and maybe - wrinkles!) this is 99% natural blend of hyaluronic acid and acacia gum which tightens and diffuses for an appearance of smoother, and more refined skin - I'm looking forward to trying this after I've used up my MAC and NYX primers.

3. Vita Liberata - Ten Minute Tan | RRP £29.95

I'm very intrigued by the idea of this tan, as I've been using Fake Bake for a while, which is a developing tan which you choose to apply between 1 hour to 3 hours for your desired look - and this gives you a tan WITHIN 10 minutes - isn't this perfect if you forget to tan for a night out? This tan does develop into a golden tan within 4-6 hours! I'll let you know how I get on with this tan.

4. Batiste - 2-in-1 Dry Shampoo & Conditioner | RRP £4.99

I have been a true fan of Batiste dry shampoo products for the last few years, I felt it was every girl, and guys hair miracle! There has been so many times I've reached for my dry shampoo in the past because I've been too tired to wash my hair, or just forgot or maybe just wanted to add a bit of volume to my hair, - I knew I'd be happy with a top up of this product and I've never tried this scent, it's vanilla and passionflower - This travel size is perfect to carry in your hand bag incase of emergencies or to take on my next trip away!

5. Bobbi Brown - Multi-Mask Kit | RRP £33 (each)

I must admit, when I saw the 'top 3 reasons why you can't miss March's BirchBox' post and the fact it would include Bobbi Brown (a brand I have came across, however not tried nor purchased anything from) I did get a little bit excited. I have thoroughly enjoyed trying face masks after recieving the mask in a recent box, so can't wait to test these for you all. I usually instagram face masks so make sure you follow me on social media for more indepth reviews! (And if it's THAT good it'll make an apperance in my monthly favourites.) I have been gifted with three different samples which are tailored all for different needs. There is an instant detox mask for people with an oily t-zone, an radiance boost mask for those who want a glow to their complexion and lastly a skin nourish mask to help soothe your skin.

As you can see, the box this month was a simple style which include a draw string bag (which will be sitting on my dressing table) to put the items inside, I really like this touch to have something a little extra than it just being in the box. I look forward to seeing what BirchBox do in the future.
