❶   Mascara isn't just for your eyelashes:

I have discovered that clear mascara is a good eye brow tamer! Once you have applied your eyebrow product whether you use a pencil, powder or gel use your clear mascara and run the brush through your brows to hold your eyebrows in place all day longer. This is an inexpensive way of using a product that has a multi-purpose. You can buy clear mascara from drugstore brands for as cheap as a few pound.

 

❷  Use your ring finger to apply eye cream:

Did you know that your ring finger holds the least amount of pressure onto the skin, with your eye being a delicate area ensure when you apply eye cream. Use this tip when appealing concealer underneath the eyes - as using the most sensitive part of your finger you will help reduce wrinkles also.

 



❸ How to correctly colour match your skin:

It is sometimes tricky trying to find your correct shade in at a make-up counter where the artificial lights is beaming down on your skin. Even worse, you don't want to test some foundation on your skin and walk out orange! Yikes. So follow these tips. Do not test the colour match on your wrist as it is too pale, ensure you test the foundation, concealer or powder on either, your face or neck.

 

 

❹ How to keep your make-up flawless all day long:

Ensure you use a primer after you apply your moisturizer to keep your base make-up stay on all day long! I also use a primer on my eye-lids to allow my eye-shadow to stay on all day and not crease! By using primer's your guaranteed your make-up to last a lot longer even when your battling against the bad weather, air conditioning or an event upcoming you need your skin to look great for as long as it possibly can! Prep is key.

 

❺ Conceal your brows and make a perfect arch:

Firstly fill in your brows with your desired way, then apply concealer above and below your brow and blend out to highlight the arch of your brow bone for a more defined finish. This gives your eyebrows a precise look.

 

❻ Use your eye lash curler to line your lashes and curl in sync:

Apply your eyeliner in your eyelash curler and curl your top lashes - this will add eyeliner to darken your lash line for a fuller look and curling your eyelashes really opens your eyes and helps with mascara application to give you fluttery lashes. Girlies, I've got another tip for you heat your curlers for 5-8 seconds before curling them for curlier and flirtier lashes.

 

➐ Use baby shampoo to clean your brushes:

It's really important to keep your brushes clean as it will prevent your skin from forming more blemishes - same goes with keep touching your face to a minimum as the bacteria will spread and give you blemishes! (which we all want to avoid!) Baby shampoo is a cheap alternative to the brands selling brush cleanser, the product foams up and thoroughly cleans your brushes.

 

❽ How to get fuller lips - without a lip plumber or injections:

This is only a temporary measure, but is perfect to make your pout show more. Apply a light lip-liner to the centre of your lips when applying your lipstick for a fuller looker again, blend out with your ring finger and finish with some gloss. I find clear lip gloss helps to make my lips look bigger.

 

❾ Conceal and highlight properly:
Shapes are not just for math class - apply your concealer underneath your eyes in a triangle. This highlights your face also - apply concealer to the high points of your face where the natural light normally hits. A lot of people will just put a small line of concealer sideways underneath their eyes to conceal but it has been shown for best results to use the triangle approach!

❿ How to apply false eyelashes:
I love lashes they can completely change your look and make you look glamorous instantly! I prefer to get my lashes done I either get individual lashes or as most recently for Christmas and New Year I tried cluster lashes for the first time. However if I want fuller lashes as a one off I will use falsies. I swear by the duo lash glue as it dries clear, use tweezers to apply for a steady hand. Curl your lashes before so they stick then apply a coat of foundation.
