✭✭HAPPY NEW YEAR!✭✭
2016 was a really good year overall. I progressed and leaped through my career path and have become so successful and have been told I am doing very well, which is lovely to be complimented on your hard work and efforts and since November, I've been given even more responsibilities which I have embraced with two hands and have enjoyed the challenges which has come with it. I cannot wait to see where I go this year in my career. I had an amazing 2 week holiday with my boyfriend and his family to Estepona, in Spain this holiday was incredible, we are already planning to go back there as we had so much fun. I also went to my first ever proper football game to watch Oxford with my boyfriend and his younger brother Jacob. I PASSED my driving test first time in June. I turned 19 this year and also welcome the birth of my nephew, watching my nephews grow up is the most amazing thing ever. Our family's business is re-launching which is super exciting! I actually developed a tan for the first time EVER - rather than relying on fake bake to give me that sun-kissed glow!
I love it when we bring in a new year, as it's a perfect opportunity to reflect on the previous year and strive to be the best that you can be. I have made a promise to myself and my loved ones to have the best year yet. And I hope you do too.
Here are my 2017 New Year Resolutions:
- To join a gym and feel healthier - I joined last week and have been every day since. I'm so proud of myself as with anything, until you actually start you'll always be sitting on the fence wondering 'what if' - you need to take the jump and you'll manage to stick to it.
- Drink more water - This has so many benefits to your skin and body. You should drink a few litres of water each day. This is something we all should/can do however can easily forget!
- Continue with my career and journey - I have been in full-time employment since leaving sixth form. Everyone takes different paths whether that be further education or employment or apprentices it's whatever is best for you. I took the jump and went into employment and it was best decision I'd made. I'm so glad I took the leap as It's proven to be so worthwhile. I cannot see what position I'll be mid-year / end of the year. I want to keep on progressing every day!
- Travel more - With passing my driving test I have been able to travel more and have trips out, I want to continue to do that as we are only young and can travel the world.
- Create a successful blog - Since my early teens I've been obsessed with the beauty guru's on YouTube and reading their blogs. I cannot wait to post more, interact with you all and watch my blog grow. Eventually, I would like to pursue this little adventure and possibly have a channel of my own.
