Pamper Day | Girly Day

Hello beaties,

 

I thought I'd blog about my recent pamper weekend. I love spending a bit of 'me' time as I'm sure you all do too.

 

What do you do to relax & pamper yourself?

 

 In my previous post I showed the beauty items I treated myself with.. and I was a bit naughty yesterday and treated myself to an Adidas Hoodie & Puma work out leggings!

 

You can never spoil yourself enough right?

Once a month, I'll always get a new set done for my nails I choose Gel Shellac as it lasts a good 3-4 weeks before they grow out and I desperately need them done again. I love getting my nails done. Post a picture of your nails in the comments to give each other some inspiration because each time I go to the nail salon I sit and stare at all of the different bunches of nail colours, glitters and can never decide what to pick! This is every girls biggest struggle. I get my nails shaped square, I've always wanted to go for oval but I feel that I wouldn't be able to pick anything up? Help a girl out & let me know!

I've been going to a lovely girl called Megan's home for the last few months for my pamper time! I have had both styles of lashes which she offers - full set of individual eyelashes and cluster lashes. I fall in love with my eyes (which I think is my best feature) every time their finished. Individual lashes enhance my eyes so much more and the best thing I don't have to reach for my mascara wand! They look natural and I like the emphasis Megan puts on the lashes in the outer corner, so when they start to fall out you still get that fluttery look! I have quite long and thick eyelashes naturally and Megan & I were so impressed with how long my first set of lashes lasted in August when I went on holiday for 2 weeks - Almost a month after and they still looked great (Even after swimming!) I'm currently sporting the cluster lashes which are perfect for parties, special occasions and generally adding a little something extra to your everyday look.

 

I've recently been trying to experiment & tame my brows so, I booked in today my second session of a wax and brow tint with Megan. I love how they've turned out - the shade my brows are tinted with is light brown as I'm a blondiiiiie and I love the finished look and overall shape of my brows. I actually prefer waxing to threading now - it's a lot less painful and the end result is much better! No more stray hairs in my brows.
