Beauty Haul | Shopping Trip

I went out this afternoon and did a little bit of shopping and thought it would be nice to share it with you all. I'm thinking about doing a 'follow-me around' where you virtually come shopping with me?

How many girls can relate to this quote?
I've mentioned this previously, a shopping trip to me, is not complete unless I've been to MAC. I had a nosey through the store but I always find MAC too be SO busy so if I know what I need to stock up on I'll quickly pop in and head back out again. I usually go to a MAC counter in a House of Fraser store, but I love their individual stores there is crazy amounts of each type of product to choose from it is every beauty lover's idea of heaven. I've been to several in London before and conveniently come out with a lot more make-up than I planned to buy. (It's easy to do right?)

I repurchased my go to foundation which is the MAC Studio Fix Fluid. My shade is NC15. This foundation provides medium-full coverage and gives a flawless matte finish, controls oils and has an SPF 15 protection. Perfect for all occasions. I have lost count how many times I've repurchased this!!

I usually purchase the black-extreme version of the mascara shown below with white writing however, I had to ask for this at the counter when I was paying for my foundation as no one was free to ask on the floor. The lady couldn't hear me clearly and I only noticed when I got home :( It's not worth taking back, as it's the same quality of product just the black lash version not extreme black. I'll give it ago, and let you know my thoughts. Sometimes this is the only way I'll try something new.

Whilst in House of Fraser I stopped by Urban Decay to repurchase my trusty primer potion. I always opt for the original one as it will not clash/change the colour of your eyeshadow shades. Although this is pretty pricey for just acting as a base this really is a necessity! Especially if you're going to an event where you need your make-up to last all day, and maybe even... all night. This product does last a long time as you only need a pea sized amount to cover your eye-lids (remember from my beauty tips apply with your ring finger!)

I then popped into Boots and purchased some of my high street faves. I recently tried out the NYX Eyebrow Gel in the shade Blonde and felt it worked really well and was easy to apply. I always struggle with getting the perfect brow - as I'm sure you all do, sometimes there over plucked , too dark, too light.. oh, the struggles. However, this product in line with having my brows waxed and tinted seems to be doing the trick for me. They also have a wide range of shades suitable for all.

I picked up this lip liner also from NYX as this is always an area of my make-up routine I want to try new products but am too nervous to step out of my comfort zone unless it's a neutral shade of course (as you can never go wrong there!) the shade I chose is in Nude Beige which is perfect for me, and I can lightly apply this creamy lip liner to make my lips appear fuller. So far, I really like the application of this liner and the colour is true to the shades shown on the website and bottom of the liner (Brilliant if you're buying online as NYX has only recently become readily available in our Boot's stores here in the UK) I can't wait to purchase some more colours in the future.

I repurchased my absolute hands down BEST concealer I've tried to date. And, it's under £5 what a bargain! The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer can be used underneath your eye's to conceal any darkness and highlight this area and also can be put onto blemishes to hide any imperfections you may have! This product is full coverage and has been raved about by so many beauty bloggers and Youtuber's. It really is worth the money and I actually did NOT purchase a MAC concealer today because I remembered I could save over £10 by purchasing this one!

Lastly in Boots, I purchased the Fake Bake 60 Minute Rapid Self-Tan Liquid. This is my second bottle and I really do enjoy using this tan. There are 3 different lengths of time you can apply this product for depending on your desired look. 1 hour gives you a natural, light amount of tan. 2 hours gives you a medium tan and 3 hours is for a dark tan. (I usually opt for 2 hours every few days of applying this but when applying fresh tan I sometimes do 3 hours as I am very pale!)

This tan includes: cosmetic guide colour for easy application,  naturally derived triple tanning formula, free application gloves and a mit.
