What I Got For Christmas 2019 ♡

Hey everyone - welcome back to another blog post, this is quite possibly the most requested post every single year for all bloggers and youtubers which is the What I Got For Christmas post. This type of post is definitely one I find myself reading/watching after Christmas as I love to see what people received, hear about their Christmas day and also get inspiration of presents to get people in the future for Birthdays & Christmas. I also want to say before we get into the wonderful gifts I was so kindly given by my loved ones, that this post is in no way to brag, it is just very highly requested, so I wanted to share it! Christmas is a time for giving (I love this part the most - seeing your family happy is the most heart warming feeling in the world!) and spending it surrounded by your loved ones and enjoying the quality time together, and of course eating lot's of yummy food. I wish pigs and blankets were apart of every roast dinner. I've had an amazing few days celebrating the festive period with my boyfriend and our families. I really hope you enjoy this post, keep on reading to see what I received and an insight to my Christmas.

I have had the busiest Christmas ever, on Christmas Eve we spend it with my partners family and have our Christmas dinner altogether in the evening, play games and watch all of the awesome films lined up for the evening. On Christmas morning, I headed back home to pick up my Grandad and take him to Church (something I grew up doing with my Nanny and Grandad) and at the end of the service, we lit candles in memory of our loved ones who are no longer here with us. This part of my Christmas morning is so special for me. Following this, I headed back to my partners to exchange presents with his family, then back in the car headed over to my house to spend Christmas day and night with my family. We all had so much fun, I got my Dad an Alexa for Christmas, which I think we all enjoyed choosing our favourite songs to sing and dance too with a few glasses of Prosecco! On Boxing Day we spent the morning and afternoon with my family, seeing my nephews open all of their presents and then we headed back to my boyfriends to spend the evening with them. A very fun filled busy few days which were honestly so amazing, and one of my favourite Christmas' to date. As I'm writing this, I've just finished packing as we're heading off to Amsterdam and I'm so excited we will be spending New Years there too!

Let's get on to the fun part, the gifts... (I was honestly so amazed and grateful for everything I received!!!)

The first gift I received was from my Secret Santa, which was a Body Shop set of a body scrub and body butter in the Juicy Pear scent. My Secret Santa knows me very well! I'm super excited to try out these two products from the Body Shop range - as I haven't tried many things from there before, but recently I did purchase their Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow face mask!

From my parents I got something which I had right at the top of my Christmas wish list... the Mark Hill pick 'n' mix range! I asked for the wand and the ellipse waver as I want to start curling my hair and trying out different hair styles (when I have my hair curled, at the hairdressers only, as I couldn't master doing it with hair straighteners, that it lasted forever and it meant less heat on my hair = less damage!) so thank you so much Mum & Dad! They also got me the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which is my current favourite bronzer! I have always been into reading, so my Mum asked me which books were on my list and she picked one for me, the one she chose was 'Get Rich Lucky B*tch' by Denise Duffield-Thomas which I've heard great reviews on, so I'm really excited to read this! I also got a bottle of Gordons Pink Gin - which is my favourite alcoholic beverage, and last but not least they also gave me money - which I am going to put towards something which has been on my goal board to purchase for a while now. I know my Mum will read this post, so a huge thank you both for my lovely gifts... and for the most amazing 3 course meal!

From my brother and his girlfriend we are doing a date night together, so we have got Cinema tickets and a dinner planned (we're thinking of Frankies & Bennys!) to enjoy! And from my other brother and his family I was given an FM perfume (no. 20) which is inspired by Viktor Rolf - Flower Bomb, I haven't tried this before, but it smells amazing so I'm very grateful to have another perfume to add to my collection. My nephews got me some recent photographs of them to update my photo frames and also a beautiful handmade card, those gifts are honestly the best.

From my Grandad, the first gift I opened made my heart feel so full! It was the most beautiful matching earning and necklace set I have ever seen that my Grandad had passed onto me in memory of my Nanny - I mean, is there anything more precious?! He also got me a Dove gift set filled with shower gel, body spray and lotions and he suggested I used the bag as a travel bag for my make up and skincare items as I'm always on the go - and I've packed everything I need for Amsterdam in there - so it's like two presents in one which is fab! I was also given some money, which again I am going to put towards something special. If you're reading this post Gramps, thank you so so so much for my amazing presents! You're one in a million.

From my boyfriend Tom, we both booked Amsterdam together for our main present which I'm so happy about - we absolutely love it there! Tom also brought me something which I've seriously wanted for *years* but it's one of those things, you don't want to buy for yourself. He brought me a pair of Rose Gold Solo 3 Wireless Beats Headphones which I'm so grateful for and cannot wait to use. He also brought me the beautiful Love Bracelet, and treated me to some MAC make-up items, I have wanted to try the Studio Fix foundation again for a while now, and the Vanilla pigment so he brought me both of those (which I have been using for the past few days, and LOVE.) I also fell in love with the scent of the FM perfume (no. 80) which is inspired by Dior - Miss Dior Cheri which I have also brought away with me for our trip. And, last, but not least... I am seriously so grateful, well and truly spoilt this year he brought me a pair of Adidas Ozweego trainers which we're waiting on arriving so I'll have another present to come home to, however I seriously think I need them in every colour they are such gorgeous shoes.

From Tom's parents I was gifted another beautiful set of jewellery, this is a timeless pendant and earing set with Cubic Zirconia and a traditional silver twisted chain  by Buckley London - so stunning! His Mum also created me a little 'at home pamper set' and a bag of yummy chocolates. From his brothers we were given euro's for holiday and also an Alexa which we're loving. And from his Nanny I was given a lovely Birthday and Address book and also a pen set by Stratton which I cannot wait write with, does anyone else love new stationery?! I was also given another fantastic Dove set (seriously, love these gift sets at Christmas) from his family too. Tom's younger brother Jake, also got me a build a bear which is the cutest teddy bear ever - I have always wanted a build a bear, and he brought me a teddy when he first went on holiday and then got me this one - pictured below how cute is it!!! Thank you all so much for my wonderful presents!
