Follow-Me Blog: Getting My Hair Done And Come Shopping With Me!

Hello beauties I thought I'd give you an update on my weekend. I did a post similar to this a few months back, and I got such a good response. This weekend has been quite busy actually! Friday evening I went out for a meal with my boyfriend and his younger brother, after dropping off a few deliveries to my clients. On Saturday I spent a total of 3 hours in the hair salon, and had a chilled evening followed by Sunday I have been enjoying having a relaxed day with my boyfriend and working on my blog and beauty business. We also went shopping this afternoon which was so lovely and the weather was pretty good today too!

 S A T U R D A Y -

I had booked my hair appointment about 2 weeks ago, as I have been feeling in need of a pamper, and I wanted to treat myself! I booked in with my hairdresser Calley to have a full head of blonde foils, a cut and having my hair finished off with some big bouncy curls and the most divine smelling shine-mist spray!

I have included photo's of my hair transformation as I love seeing before and after photo's - it's incredible what hairdressers can do to perfect your hair. I don't ever go crazy with my hair cuts and colours, I know what I like and I stick to it - I'm sure one day I will have a change, but for now... I'll stick to my usual. The top two photo's are my before photo's showing my root growth since I last had my hair done, the middle row shows my hair dyed and cut and straightened. The third row shows off my finished princess hair, all curled! I cannot believe how amazing my hair looks (and this was all achieved with a pair of GHD hair straighteners) - do you curl your hair with curlers or hair straighteners?

Whilst I was planning my hair appointment, my hairdresser asked me about the toothpaste - so I took that along with me, as well as a sample of our mud mask for her to try during a girly pamper evening that night. We got chatting, as you do, and whilst enjoying a cuppa tea I was handed a bunch of magazines to read through whilst she worked her magic on my hair I flicked through the Cosmopolitan magazine there was our feature of the PLUMPING LIPBALM that launches tomorrow (25.09.17) I'm taking pre-orders for this balm and ordering at 9am tommorow - so quickly message me if you'd like one.

 

    

 

                                                                             

 S U N D A Y

I also did a spot of shopping after we had lunch today, I popped into Primark and picked up a few essentials - you know, leggings, tops, my favourite false eyelashes in the style sultry which are only £1 (one of the best pairs of lashes you'll try) a little candle for our room, and a PJ set for £14 which I'm sporting in the photo using my laptop. I also picked up this top I'm wearing in the photo below which I've fallen in love with. It has quite a long top - perfect to throw on with a pair of leggings - and add some heels and jewellery to make it look a bit more glam - I was really impressed that it was only £6 and it has some slight detail to the back where its got some cut out and the top of the back with lines going across. 

 

 This evening was rather relaxed, watching TV and eating spaghetti bolognese (one of my favourite dinners!) and catching up with my team and messages from clients. I also decided to do this blog post, as I love having a nosey and listening to what people get up to at the weekend, usually I do this whilst making a cup of tea at work but, I thought why not share it with you all. Whilst having a relaxed evening, I headed to the bathroom and went through my skin-care items. I always navigate towards my glacial marine mud mask when I need a pamper! This product is incredible, it draws out all of the dirt and impurities from your skin - leaving your skin having a clean, fresh, clear and hydrated base. it pulls all of the nasties from your skin, and I love how smooth my face feels after and how well my make-up applies - it's part of my Sunday routine now, prepping my skin for the week ahead.
