Full Face Make-Up Tutorial | Contour & Smokey Eyes

Hello beauties,

Two make-up tutorials in two days?! Aren't you a lucky bunch. I have recently had lots of comments and messages from girls, asking for me to do a make-up look focusing on how to create my signature smokey eye-look and some 'how to' contour tips! So if that interests you then stay tuned for lot's of photo's and details on how to create this look.

Here is me baring all fresh face, without make-up! It's important for us to all feel happy and comfortable in our body / skin however, as a beauty obsessive I love experimenting with make-up and enhancing my skills, I like to use make-up to enhance my natural features rather than to cover them up - I think that goes for most of us, let me know your thoughts.

To start with I always do my brows and then my eyes as it's easier to clean up any fallout from shadows or powder products than if you've already applied your foundation etc. I wouldn't want to have to re-apply it all again! I used my Balm Cosmetics eyebrow powder in the shade Blonde with my Real Techniques angled brow brush to lightly stroke the powder in my brows.

For my eyeshadow colours, I reached for my much loved (as you can tell I've hit pan/used most of the shades already!) Naked 2 Palette. I mix three colours to create my look and they are; snake bite, busted and black out.

I then applied a new foundation, which is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation which makes my skin look absolutely flawless. This foundation blends well, is medium - full coverage, does not look cakey on the skin and provides a dewy finish which I am a huge fan of in the Summer, I also mixed this with the Avon natural effects tinted moisturizer. I then added my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer in the shade light to my forehead, underneath my eyes, down the centre of my nose and on my chin to highlight my face.

I contour with a very affordable Sleek contour kit which comes with a highlighter too - so perfect for traveling as you'll have both products in a compact. I use the contour shade from the palette, using the pointed foundation brush from Real Techniques to apply down the edges of my nose to make it appear thinner, also applying contour to my forehead, cheekbones and jawline.
