Review: February's BirchBox

It's that time of the month again when a lovely parcel makes it's way to my door and I literally have to take photo's of every thing before I can open it and try it - got to ensure my pictures look pretty for you all right?! If you get deliveries I'm sure you know the feeling of having to take them insta worthy pictures before you see inside for yourself!

This month BirchBox partnered up with PAPIER to create the 'EXPRESS yourself' box - PAPIER is a British stationery brand who have worked alongside BirchBox to create two different boxes filled with a selection of personalised beauty treats! Each box should include a full-size Spectrum brush (omg - this is the softest, most stunning looking brush ever - white & gold!!) plus a Pop Beauty Eye shadow Trio and including a Korean skincare treat too.

I can honestly say I'm still so impressed with the box and the fact I decided to choose this one against so many others - I'm still going to trail some more so I can tell you all which is the best value for money. But, so far 2 months in - I love my new beauty box. Now I must ask - if you have a BirchBox please let me know did you receive the breakfast snack?! I had this left with mine and I did update my Beauty Profile to say I wouldn't mind but I was just surprised to receive this + my box!

Contents inside my February box

  1. Spectrum Collection - FULL SIZE
Marbleous CO6 Tulip Eye Contour Brush | RRP £5.99 This brush is perfect for blending eye shadow - and is the prettiest brush I own! I will be investing in many other brushes from this collection as it's soft, the bristles don't shred and it applies eye shadow evenly! You can also use the brush on the flat side to apply a colour all over the lid and the tip to define the lash-line or to enhance your crease.
  2. POP Beauty
Bright Up Your Life Eyeshadow Trio in Champagne Mocha | RRP £15.50 This eyeshadow palette suits my needs down to a T! Champagne colours for the inner corner and as an all over lid shade and a bronze colour for definition in the crease. Would you like to see an eye-shadow tutorial with this trio? Leave a message in the comments if you would like me too!
  3. WhishShave Crave Shaving Cream in Acai Grapefruit | RRP £14.80 This shaving cream is a godsend to girls - it is a way to do a close shave without stripping your legs of it's moisture - I like the formula of this product it is non-foaming! and has amazing ingredients which are kind to your skin (I have sensitive skin so rate this product highly!)  such as shea butter and coconut oil which are very nourishing! - simply apply before shaving then rise away!
  4. Beaver ProfessionalDaily Moisture Conditioning Spray | RRP £21 I've tried this product out on my Nan & I and we both absolutely love this product! It has a herbal blend which detangles your locks and injects the moisture back into your hair - two things which scream TRY ME ! I am not the biggest fan on the smell - it is quite strong but the product is lovely - its gentle and works as a mist in which you just spray to the strands in your hair - massage and style - away you go!
  5. KEEOME - FULL SIZE
Hydration Mask Therapy | RRP £29 for 6* (usually £66) This mask I want to try so bad!!! But I'm waiting to have a pamper evening - with my hair mask and a lush bath bomb so try it out to it's full potential - I will do a thorough review once I have tried it - as, well it's VERY expensive. Tis sheet mask revialties the skin within moments - and has a hydrating blend of vital vitamins and mulberry extracts that sink straight into your tired complexion - this mask sounds like it is a miracle in a packet - I most definitely will do before and after photo's and a full review - you also leave this on the skin for 25 MINUTES!

I also received a quote in my box - 'You don't write because you want to say something. You write because you have something to say.' - F Scott Fitzgerald - this quote is utterly beautiful and so meaningful to me.

Overall another month down and another happy Em. So impressed with this box and will ensure I continue with my honest reviews. If you would be interested in signing up to the monthly subscription - please get in contact with me as I have a discount link where you can receive your first box for £5 of the full price which is £12 including P&P - <3 Beauty with Em oxo
